• 1300 block of Queens Road West Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  Unknown female entered the residence and was seen in the kitchen by the victim. The suspect fled the scene, last seen heading down Hopedale Avenue. K9 is assisting with the search of the suspect.

• 5500 block of Josh Birmingham Parkway Bomb—suspicious item found

  At 5501 Josh Birmingham Parkway, a suspicious bookbag was located on airport property. CFD Hazmat and the CMPD Bomb Squad responded and detonated the backpack. There was no signs of explosives/chemicals located within the backpack. There is one person detained at this time with the Airport Police.

• 1200 block of Braveheart Ln. Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The victim reported that five black male suspects, wearing hooded sweatshirts and jeans, forced their way into the victim's home. Once inside the suspects robbed the victim of money and property. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

  The victim reported that a black male suspect, wearing a flannel shirt and jeans used physical force and took property from them. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

  A 34 yoa male was found deceased. Homicide responded per protocol.

• 4400 block of Central Ave. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that a black male suspect, thin build, wearing blue jeans and black jacket attempted to rob them. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

• 4200 block of Monroe Rd. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects, suspect #1, was a B/M in his mid 30's, short hair style, dark black skin, wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt, blue jeans, 6'1 , heavy set, may be about 240 pounds. He stated he was wearing prescription type glasses and had an unusually long goatee, 6-8 inches long. He stated suspect #2 was a B/M 38-45 years old, medium brown skin, wearing blue jeans. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

  The victim reported that a black male with light complexion, braids in his hair wearing a hat stole their car at gunpoint. The car has since been recovered. No injuries.
