• 900 block of Key Street Robbery from person—armed

  (2) armed B/M suspects entered the victims residence and held them at gunpoint. The suspects then removed several items from the home before fleeing. No injuries reported.

• North Tryon Street Accident—personal Injury

  Victim was struck by a vehicle at the N. Tryon/ HWY 29 split. Medic is on scene. The victim is unresponsive, suffering from head and facial injuries. North Tryon is blocked at this time and all traffic is being diverted onto Rocky River Road. CFD and City Transit have been notified of traffic diversion.

• 8600 block of Hankins Road Robbery from business—armed

  The Waffle House was robbed by (2) masked B/M suspects who fired several rounds inside of the business prior to fleeing. No injuries reported.

  (2) B/M suspects robbed the Shell Station at 2701 The Plaza. The suspects fired several rounds inside of the business prior to fleeing the scene. There were no injuries.

• 2200 block of S. Tryon Street Robbery from business—armed

  The Petro Express was robbed by a B/M suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect fled the scene on foot. No injuries reported.

• 11800 block of Woffington Court Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  Three BM suspects broke into an occupied residence and fled the scene on foot. All three suspects were taken into custody after Steele Creek Division officers set up a perimeter search. The K-9 Unit assisted in the search.

• 28000 block of Yorkmont Road Bomb—suspicious item found

  Workers located a suspicious package located inside one of the drop boxes. CMPD Bomb Squad and CFD responded. Bomb Squad collected the package and took it to the ATF Office to be examined and disposed of. NFI

• 2500 block of E. 7th Street Robbery from person—armed

  The victim was robbed at gunpoint by a W/M suspect who fled the scene in a blue vehicle. No injuries reported.

  B/M suspect robbed the Hardee's Restaurant through the drive thru window and then jumped into a burgundy SUV and fled the scene. No shots fired, no injuries.

• 10300 block of Creswell Court Missing person

  7 yr old male ran out the door prior to being disciplined for writing on the walls. CFD, CMPD K-9, and CMPD Officers searched the area. The child was found hiding in the next door neighbors bushes at approximately 9:31 pm unharmed.

  Male victim went to Presbyterian Matthews with an stabbing injury to his arm. CMPD was called to the hospital to take the report. NLT injury.

• 1900 block of Milton Road Robbery from person—strong arm

  H/M victim exited the convenience store and was hit in the face by a B/M suspect, while a second B/M suspect took money from the victim's hand. The victim sustained minor injuries to his face, but will need stitches. Suspects fled on foot.
