Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury
Officers were dispatched to CMC in reference to a female with a NLT gunshot wound to the leg. She advised that she was shot during a robbery attempt.

Female victim reported that a B/M suspect forced entry into her residence and took several purses before she confronted him and he fled the scene on foot.

A tractor trailer hit the median on southbound I-77 near exit 5. The interstate is shut down at this time. SHP, CMPD, CFD, and MEDIC are all on scene.

Robbery from business—armed
A suspect armed with a silver handgun walked into the business, pointed the weapon at the clerk, and took the money from the register. The suspect had a red bandana over his face. Last seen heading down albemarle Rd. on foot.
