Death investigation
A 44 year old male was found deceased in his room at Intown Suites. Homicide detectives are on scene per department protocol. The investigation is in its early stages; at this time it appears that the death is likely due to a drug overdose.

Breaking and entering residential-occupied
Complainant advised that upon entering the residence, their young children were lying on the floor, held at gunpoint. 3 B/M suspects fled the scene in a green SUV and 2 of the 3 suspects were apprehended a short time later. No injuries reported.

Kidnapping
The caller indicated that a male was beating up on a female at the listed location, and that he forced her into his vehicle and fled the scene. Officers gathered information from the sole witness and begin searching for the victim. Homicide units were called in to assist. A little while later the victim arrived back at her residence indicating she had not been kidnapped or assaulted.

4900 block of S. Tryon St.
Rape / sexual assault
The victim advised she accepted a ride from the two suspects that she did not know. The suspects drover her to two separate locations. She advised that she was raped by one of the suspects at the second location, which she cannot identify. The suspects dropped her off at the convenience store at 4923 S. Tryon St, where she called police.

Rape / sexual assault
DSS reported that they believed a juvenile victim had been sexually assaulted by an adult suspect. Officers responded to the hospital to initiate an investigation. Youth detectives will be following up per protocol.

Robbery from person—armed
The three victims were operating a tow truck when approached by two black males suspects. The suspects attempted to rob the victims, but they resisted, and the suspect fled the scene in a small silver vehicle.

Robbery from person—armed
Victim reported that he was robbed by his ex-girlfriend and an unknown male suspect. The male had a revolver and the female had a knife. No injuries.

26 yr old female found suffering from apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. Homicide Detectives responded per protocol to assist with the investigation.

Missing person
6 yr old child missing since 3:10 pm per Grandmother. Child seen getting in a red mustang by neighbor, possibly with Mother. Unable to locate child and mother. Missing Person Det contacted. Child was finally located with the mother in Union County safe.
