  • 72400 block of Highland Creek Parkway Rape / sexual assault

    The victim's mother alleged that her young child was sexually assaulted by another young child, possibly while at school. Officers initiated an investigation, which will be followed up with by youth detectives and school law enforcement.

  • 4800 block of N. Graham St Stolen vehicle

    Officers responded to the above address regarding a call for suspects tampering with a vehicle. Officers pursued the suspects on foot, and with the assistance of K9 were able to arrest 2 suspects. One was 16 years old, and the other a juvenile. Auto theft detectives responded.

  • 6000 block of The Plaza Robbery from business—armed

    The business was robbed by a light skinned BM wearing a gray hoodie. He has tattoos on the left side of his neck. He is described as short, with facial hair. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle, possibly a Kia minivan. The suspect was arrested in Eastway Division. A detective with the Robbery Unit is on scene.

  • 6900 block of IBM Drive Bomb threat

    A bomb threat has been called in to Bright Horizons Daycare. The building has been evacuated and all of the children are safe and accounted for. The CFD is on scene as well assisting CMPD officers. Update at 12:30 p.m.: no suspicious devices or packages were found.

  • 9200 block of Shadowood Dr. Assault with a deadly weapon-no injury

    A probation officer had shots fired at them but was not struck by the bullets. A vehicle pursuit ensued with the suspect being arrested near Freeland Dr.

  • 3200 block of Park Rd. Death investigation

    Officers responded to a call for service where the victim was found deceased from an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. Homicide Detectives responded.

  • 8000 block of Kings Creek Drive Robbery from person—armed

    A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by a B/M suspect who fled the area on foot. No Injuries.

  • 5200 block of Victoria Avenue Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

    (2) H/M suspects entered the victims residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint. One of the occupants of the residence was shot by the suspects and was transported to CMC with serious injuries.
