The Westover Division occupies 16.5 square miles of west Charlotte. There are 89 officers, eight sergeants, one investigative technician and a captain assigned to the division.

• 900 block of Blairhill Rd. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect in dark clothing. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

• 6100 block of South Blvd Robbery from business—armed

  The victim and a customer were robbed inside the restaurant by 4 hispanic male suspects, one armed with a shotgun and one with a handgun. The suspects obtained cash from the manager and the customer during the incident. No injuries.

• 500 block of Brookhill Road Robbery from person—armed

  The male victim walked out the back door of his apartment to go to the store. He was approached by 2 B/M suspects one of which was armed and they demanded items from him. One of the suspects patted the victim down and took his cash. The suspects made the victim lay down and then they fled on foot. Suspects: #1: B/M, 5'6", light skinned, brown jacket, turtleneck pulled up over face armed w/ silver revolver. #2: B/M, 5'10", 20-25, dark skinned, green hoodie, low cut hair and thin build. No shots fired, no injuries.

  5 victims were at the above location when a black or purple sedan pulled up occupied by 4 suspects. 2 jumped out with a handgun and robbed the victims of jewelry and cell phones. No injuries.

• 1300 block of Emerywood Dr. Robbery from business—armed

  2 black male suspects entered the business at the above address, presented a handgun, and robbed the business of cash. The suspects fled on foot towards Londonberry Dr.

• 3400 block of South Boulevard Robbery from business—armed

  Delgado's Jewelry reported that two BM suspects attempted to rob the store. One of the suspects was armed with a firearm. One suspect was wearing a black stocking on his face, black shirt and dark jeans. The second suspect had short dreads and was wearing a black hoodie, white shirt and blue jeans. The suspects fled the immediate area on foot.

  The victims were robbed at gunpoint by (2) B/M suspects who fled the area on foot. No injuries.

  The victim advised that a black male and black female robbed him at gunpoint, taking his wallet. The suspects fled in a green honda accord. No injuries

  The victim reported that two known suspects physically assaulted them and took their property. No injuries.

• 1500 block of Emerywood Drive Robbery from person—armed

  (2) armed W/M suspects forced entry into the victims residence by kicking open the front door. Once inside, the suspects robbed the victim of cash. The masked suspects were observed fleeing the scene on foot.

• 4000 block of Park Road Robbery from business—strong arm

  Suntrust Bank reported that it was robbed by a BM suspect, about 5'7" tall and 165 pounds. He is described as having a light complexion with a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He has a goatee and was wearing black gloves, a black tobaggan and a black coat. He fled the immediate area on foot.

  Victim stated that two black males took his wallet. One suspect is described as a B/M, gold colored coat with a fur hoodie and the second suspect, B/M, with a dark colored hoodie. They were last seen running towards an apartment complex, possibly Little Rock Apartments. NFI

• 600 block of Remount Road Robbery from person—strong arm

  The victim reported being physically assaulted and robbed of his wallet by (2) B/M suspects. The victim was not injured.

• 600 block of Elmhurst Road Robbery from person—armed

  Officers responded to a man-with-a-gun call and discovered a robbery victim looking for the suspects. Victim claimed he was supposed to be meeting someone to purchase some auto rims when he was instead confronted by two armed B/Ms who took money and a cell phone.

  The victim advised that he was approached by a B/M suspect who asked for his money. The victim then relinquished his money to the suspect and began fighting with him prior to the suspect fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries reported.

  The Petro Express was robbed by a B/M suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect fled the scene on foot. No injuries reported.

  The victim advised that she was getting out of her cab when the suspect pushed her into the car, took an envelope containing cash, and fled on foot. The victim was not injured. The suspect is known to the victim.

• Pressley Road & Yorkwood Drive Robbery from person—armed

  The male victim advised that he was driving on Yorkwood Drive when a white 4 door sedan pulled in front of his vehicle and a W/M, 6'0", 170, wearing a white t-shirt got out of the car and walked to his car, pointed a chrome revolver at him and demanded money. The suspect struck the victim with the gun injuring his lip then took money, cigarettes and a cell phone from the victim and fled in the suspect vehicle.

  The victim reported that she was physically and sexually assaulted by an unknown B/M suspect.

• 2300 block of Tyvola Drive Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  Residential Breaking and Entering took place at the apartment complex, where the victim was home alone. The victim stated she was sexually assaulted by a tall B/M suspect, dressed in all black. The suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital. No further suspect information at this time.

  The victim business reported that a Hispanic male, 23-25 yoa, hooded sweatshirt and jeans attempted to rob them at gunpoint. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

  Complainant called in reference to hearing commotion at the business next door, a jewelry store. Several suspects fled the scene in a green Mitsubishi Gallant heading south on South Bv. No injuries reported. Crime Scene on scene.

  The victim reported that two suspects, a black female and a black male threatened them with physical force to take property from them. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

• 4900 block of S. Tryon St. Rape / sexual assault

  The victim advised she accepted a ride from the two suspects that she did not know. The suspects drover her to two separate locations. She advised that she was raped by one of the suspects at the second location, which she cannot identify. The suspects dropped her off at the convenience store at 4923 S. Tryon St, where she called police.
