  83YO female Hospice patient found deceased. The victim suffered from several medical problems was found by her son when he came to her residence to check on her. CFD forced entry, no foul play is suspected.

  The Panera Bread restaurant was robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects in dark clothing and short dreadlocks. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

• 7200 block of Barrington Dr. Assault with a deadly weapon-no injury

  Incident reported as a shots fired call. A male victim reports being assaulted in the 7200 block area of Barrington Dr. This indiv. got friends of his and returned to the area. Shots were fired between the two groups, several vehicles were hit and two apartments were hit. There were no reported injuries. A suspect vehicle was stopped and several subjects are being questioned. ADW Unit was advised.

• 1300 block of N. Mcdowell St. Assault—physical only

  The female victim reports a known suspect struck her several times with his fist in the head. The suspect also pushed the victims head into some cement stairs. The incident occurred during a vervbal argument over money the suspect gave the victim for prostitution. The victim was transported to CMC Main by Medic with (NLT) injuries. .

• 4500 block of The Plaza Robbery from person—strong arm

  A female walked out of the Save A Lot and while she was putting her purchases in her trunk, a B/M suspect ran up and took her purse from her shoulder/arm after a struggle. The suspect fled in a black 4 dr vehicle driven by another suspect. Suspects: #1: B/M, early 20s, 5'9", 160, blue jeans, white t-shirt, brown shoes. Suspect #2: B/M. No weapon seen. No injuries to the victim.

• 2700 block of Oak Valley Lane Rape / sexual assault

  A 46 yr old female advised that she was walking on Eastcrest Drive and a vehicle pulled up occupied by 2 B/Ms and they asked if she needed a ride. She advised that she did and got into the vehicle with them. They drove to an apartment complex, forced the victim out of the vehicle, took her behind an apartment building where both suspects sexually assaulted her. They then fled in the suspect vehicle, possibly a dark colored Honda. 1 suspect had dreads and the other had baggy jeans. Officers are canvassing the apartment complex and CSS is responding to the scene.

• 3600 block of Frew Road Robbery from person—strong arm

  The male victim was sitting in a vehicle watching a DVD when 3 B/M suspects approached, one opened the door, punched the victim in the face, drug him out of the vehicle and all 3 suspects jumped into the vehicle and drove away. The vehicle that was taken was a black BMW 740 with a 30 day tag. Victim sustained minor injuries from the assault and refused medic.

• 200 block of Sylvania Avenue Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  A male victim was stabbed in the buttocks and abdomen by a known suspect on the porch of the above address after some type of verbal altercation. The victim sustained serious, but NLT injuries and was transported by Medic to CMC Main. The victim fled on foot in the area. K-9 and the CMPD helicopter responded, but the suspect was not located.

• 600 block of Melanie Ct. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim, a pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects with one of the suspects having a blue bandana over his face. The suspects took the victim's 1999 black Mazda Protege bearing NC YYP8752. No injuries.

• 1900 block of Eastway Drive Death investigation

  (3) H/M victims were stabbed multiple times by unknown H/M suspects. All three victims were transported to CMC with life threatening injuries. One victim was later pronounced at the hospital. Homicide Detectives investigating.

  The victim was stabbed several times by a former aquaintance. The suspect is a black female that is known to the victim. The victim was transported to CMC for treatment of NLT injuries.

• 900 block of North Wendover Rd and Marvin Rd Robbery from person—armed

  Victim was approached by 2 B/M teens armed with a handgun who robbed him of money. Suspects fled on foot towards Marvin Road.

• 1000 block of N. Wendover Rd. Robbery from business—armed

  The McDonalds was robbed at gunpoint by a black male who was wearing a mask. The suspect was apprehended a short distance away. Robbery detectives responded.

• 3100 block of Central Avenue Domestic disturbance

  Male victim arrived at CMC-Main with a NLT stab wound to his left chest area and his hand. ADW was notified initially. After arriving at the hospital, officers learned that this may have been the result of some type of domestic altercation, so officers were dispatched there. DV Detectives are being called to assist with this investigation. The female is not injured.

• 1300 block of East Blvd Accident—personal Injury

  A vehicle was cutting through the parking lot when it struck a female who was walking in the lot carrying her infant child in a papoose. The female was knocked down which caused her infant to fall out of the papoose and hit the asphalt. The child was transported with NLT head injury to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

• 3100 block of Erskine Drive Animal attack

  Animal Control was at the above address dealing with a pit bull when another pit bull became aggressive. Additional Animal Control Officers and CMPD Officers were called to the scene to assist. A CMPD Officer had to shoot the aggressive pit bull. Internal Affairs responded to the scene per protocol. No officers were injured.

  The Petro Express located at 4336 Park Road was robbed by (3) B/M suspects who fled the area on foot. No injuries.

• 1000 block of Central Avenue Robbery from person—armed

  The victim advised that he was walking on Central Avenue and was approached by 2 B/M suspects. As they approached him, 1 suspect removed a dark colored handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim's chest and demanded property from him. The victim took money from his wallet, suspect #2 took the money from his hand and the suspects fled on foot. Suspects: #1: B/M, 5'7", 150, 20's, thin build, black pants & coat and white shoes. #2: B/M, 5'7", 150, 20's, thin build, black pants, coat and shoes. No shots fired, no injuries.

  The victim stated that he was robbed by two BM suspects both armed with firearms. The suspects took his tan 2009 Nissan Sentra (NC Tag TVJ-3441) and fled up Common Wealth towards The Plaza. This robbery was subsequent to B&E at the victim's residence.

  This incident occurred at 2601 E. Independence Blvd. A car struck a power pole causing the Independence Blvd. to be closed for four hours. Minor injury to the driver.

• 1100 block of W. Sugar Creek Road Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim was shot in the leg during a robbery and was transported to CMC with NLT injuries. The suspect, a masked B/M armed with a handgun, fled the area on foot.

• 4500 block of North Tryon Street Robbery from person—strong arm

  The B/F victim was pushed down by a B/M suspect who then took her purse and fled on foot. The suspect was 6', late teens, early 20's, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. The victim sustained minor injuries and was not transported. K-9 responded, but the track ended with negative results because of the area.

  H/M victim was tackled/assaulted by a B/M suspect who took his money and car keys. Suspect was 5'10"-6', 20's, mustache, brown cap, heavyset, black t-shirt, black or brown pants. K-9 responded but was unable to locate a track.

• Central Avenue & Morningside Drive Robbery from person—armed

  Prestige Taxi driver picked up 2 H/Ms uptown and drove them to Central and Morningside. Upon arrival there one of the H/Ms gave the driver a $20, when the driver turned to get him change, he felt a gun to his head and all of his money was taken as well as his cell phone. No injuries, no shots fired.

• 6000 block of The Plaza Robbery from business—armed

  The business was robbed by a light skinned BM wearing a gray hoodie. He has tattoos on the left side of his neck. He is described as short, with facial hair. The suspect fled the area in a vehicle, possibly a Kia minivan. The suspect was arrested in Eastway Division. A detective with the Robbery Unit is on scene.
