• 6100 Barrington Drive Robbery from person—armed

  The victim stated that he was robbed and shot by a B/M and H/M. The victim stated the suspects then fled in a burgundy mini van.

  Incident occured on January 3, 2009.

  Assisted CFD with working house fire.

• 2600 Milton Road Robbery from person—strong arm

  The victim was robbed by five B/Ms as he was crossing the street. One of the suspects was apprehended.

• 4100 Pineview Road Death—natural

  69 year old victim died of apparent natural causes.

• 1400 Eastcrest Drive Robbery from person—armed

  Victim states she was assaulted by the B/M suspect and he then took her purse and fled on foot.

• 2000 E. Seventh St. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by a white male suspect in a camoflague jacket and some type of bandana over his face. No injuries.

  Incident occured on December 30, 2008.

• 2800 Palm Ave. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  Following an argument, the suspect cut the victim on the neck with a glass. The victim suffered NLT injuries and was transported to CMC by MEDIC for treatment. The suspect was arrested.

• 3400 Oak Arbor Ln. Robbery from person—armed

  The delivery driver from Pizza Hut was robbed at gunpoint by two black males with one of them wearing a blue bandana over his face. No injuries.

• 6400 The Plaza Robbery from person—armed

  The H/M victim went to check on his vehicle when he was approached by 2 H/M suspects, both 5'5", 110 lbs, 19 yrs old. One suspect was armed with a small black handgun and demanded money from the victim. No shots fired, no injuries.

  Incident occured on December 28, 2008.

• 2200 E. 7th Street Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The female victim woke to observe a male suspect standing in her bedroom holding his genitals which he manipulated leaving evidence on the victim's bed. The suspect had entered through an unlocked sliding glass door and fled through the same door after being seen by the victim. The victim was not touched or injured.

  Incident occured on December 28, 2008.

• 600 Ideal Way Robbery from person—armed

  Male subject attempted to rob the victim while standing in the driveway. Suspect description B/M wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a green shirt underneath. Last seen running toward South Blvd.

• 4200 N. Tryon St. Accident in roadway—property damage

  P1945 was involved in an accident while operating PDA 410 when they were struck from the rear. Property damage only.

• 4000 Conway Avenue Robbery from person—armed

  The H/M victim was approached by 2 B/M suspects who got out of a silver 4 dr vehicle and start running toward him. The victim started walking back toward his apartment and 1 suspect yelled stop, this suspect was armed w/ a gun, demanded money and then the victim's wallet. Suspects- #1-5'9", 20 yrs old, med build, black jeans, sweater and sweater vest, armed w/ small black revolver. #2-5'8", thin build, black hoodie. #3-driver-white hoodie. No shots fired, no injuries.

  Incident occured on December 27, 2008.

• 1000 Belmont Rape / sexual assault

  Subject advised that her exboyfriend picked her up and forced her to have sex. He dropped her off back at home the next morning.

  Incident occured on December 26, 2008.

• 3100 Dunaire Drive Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The Hispanic male victim arrived home from work and a vehicle was already parked behind his home. 2 H/M suspects approached the suspect, robbed him of his money, shot him in the lower leg, and apparently possibly pistol whipped him. The victim was transported to the hospital with NLT injuries. Robbery Detectives responded to the scene and the hospital.

  Incident occured on December 26, 2008.

• 3500 ENFIELD ROAD Death—natural

  A 63 YOA female with an extensive history of medical issues was found deceased by her husband. The deceased's physician will sign the Death Certificate.

  Incident occured on December 25, 2008.

• 3200 Erskine Drive Robbery from person—armed

  Victim reported that three B/M suspects brandished weapons and demanded property. The suspects then fled on foot.

  Incident occured on December 24, 2008.

• 1200 Allen St. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that their car, a 2001 silver VW Passat bearing NC XXY5770 was stolen from them at gunpoint by a black male suspect, 6'0", dark clothing and armed with a silver handgun. No injuries.

  Incident occured on December 22, 2008.

• Pecan Ave at Central Ave Robbery from business—armed

  The victim stated that a white male approached him with a firearm and demanded money.

  Incident occured on December 22, 2008.

• 2200 Kilborne Drive Robbery from person—armed

  The victim stated that the three unknown black male suspects took the above listed property from his possession by use of a firearm.

  Incident occured on December 22, 2008.

• 3000 The Plaza Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect who was wearing a blue jersey with the number 88 on it, dreadlocks and jeans. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

  Incident occured on December 21, 2008.

• 3200 Eastway Dr. Robbery from business—armed

  The Subway was robbed by a B/M approx. 5'1" Green Shirt, Dark Pants armed with a silver handgun. The suspect walked into the business and demanded money from the register. The suspect was last seen in a dark colored vehicle driven by a B/F.

  Incident occured on December 21, 2008.

• 3500 Burkland Dr. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  This incident involved several suspects and one male victim shot in the hip, injuries (NLT) The victim was confronted in the parking lot of the above address by several B/M's, one suspect was armed.,the victim was shot and the suspect fled the scene. A short time later a suspect vehicle was spotted the vehicle wrecked at Randolph and Wendover, the suspect jumped and ran and was apprehended at a nearby residence.

  Incident occured on December 20, 2008.

• 3200 The Plaza Robbery from person—armed

  The victim advised that he went out of the club (Chasers) to get more money from his vehicle when a B/M sitting in a white Crown Victoria asked if he could use his cell phone. The B/M then got out of the suspect vehicle, and tried to cut the victim with a knife. The suspect took the victim's wallet, purse and brown leather jacket w/ fur on the hood. The victim had a minor cut on his hand from the struggle with the suspect.

  Incident occured on December 19, 2008.

• Providence Rd & Dartmouth Place Accident in roadway—property damage

  Female driver hit a power pole causing serious damage to the pole, power lines to come down and the road to be closed until repairs can be made. She was arrested for DWI. No serious injuries. UPDATE: ROAD IS OPEN EFFECTIVE 0430 hours.

  Incident occured on December 19, 2008.

• 200 W. 25th Street Fire case / investigation

  CMPD assisted CFD with a working house fire. Fire started in kitchen and was ruled accidental. No injuries.

• 1600 Eastcrest Drive Robbery from person—armed

  H/M victim was outside his apartment smoking when 3 B/M suspects approached, asked for a cigarette, then pulled out a gun, put it to the back of his head, took his wallet and cell phone from his pockets and fled on foot. The victim ran after them and they possibly got into a blue vehicle. Susp #1-5'8", med build, camo jacket. Susp #2-5'8", thin build, shoulder length braids, black leather jacket, black baseball cap, black handgun. No shots fired, no injuries.

  Incident occured on December 18, 2008.

• 4500 South Blvd. Robbery from person—armed

  H/M victim was getting into his vehicle at the bowling alley when a black Honda with SC tags pulled up, 2 B/M suspects got out, one put a gun to the victim's head and the other took his wallet from his back pocket.Both suspects were 5'6", skinny build w/ dreads. A 3rd unknown suspect was driving the suspect vehicle. No shots fired, no injuries.

  Incident occured on December 18, 2008.

• 1600 Eastcrest Drive Robbery from person—armed

  H/M victim was walking home from work when a 4dr vehicle pulled in front of him. 2 B/M suspects jumped out, pointed a gun at the victim, took his wallet from his pocket and fled in the car. Susp #1-B/M, thin build, shaved head, brown shirt, black pants, black revolver. Susp #2-B/M, 5' 4', thin build, shaved head, brown shirt, black jeans. B/M suspect driving car had on a white baseball cap. No shots fired, no injuries.

  Incident occured on December 18, 2008.

• 1300 Pamlico Street Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  Stepson assaulted stepfather by hitting him with a bat. When officers arrived the suspect had a gun pointed at the victim's head. The suspect complied with officers commands and was taken into custody. Victim's injuries are NLT.
