• 6300 block of Linda Vista Ln. Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The victims reported that the two suspects, both black males in dark clothing broke into a shed that they were in and robbed them at gunpoint. Both suspects fled on foot but one suspect was detained on scene. Robbery detectives responded.

• 100 block of S. McDowell Street Accident—personal Injury

  The CMPD HITS Unit is investigating a collision involving a pedestrian which occurred at the intersection of S. McDowell Street and 4th Street. A vehicle traveling on S. McDowell Street struck a female pedestrian who was crossing the intersection. The victim was transported to CMC with life threatening injuries.

  The Jack In The Box Restaurant was robbed by (2) armed B/M suspects. The suspects fled the scene on foot. No injuries.

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by a black male in dark clothing. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

• 900 block of N. Tryon St. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that he was robbed by an unknown person at an unknown location. The victim was extremely intoxicated and could only advise someone placed a gun to his back and demanded his wallet. The victim gave the suspect his wallet. It was determined that the incident occurred under the bridge in the 900 block of N Tryon St. The victim could not provide any description of the suspect. The victim was not injured.

• 2200 block of Senior Drive Robbery from person—armed

  Officers are working a case involving a painter who was working at the school who was accosted by 2 B/M suspects in one of the outside walkways of the school. 1 of the suspects pulled a gun and pushed the victim by the throat up against the wall. The victim fought back and the suspects fled on foot. One of them was captured a short time later and is currently being interviewed. It is suspected that this was either an attempted robbery or an interrupted burglary.

• 5700 block of Lawnmeadow Dr. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim was shot once in the thigh following an agrument with the suspects. The suspects are a black female and three black males who fled the scene in a gray or silver Mazda. The victim was transported to CMC for treatment of a NLT injury.

• 2200 block of LaSalle Street Robbery from person—armed

  B/M victim advised that as he was sitting on LaSalle Street waiting to turn onto Beatties Ford Road in his Burgundy Jeep Cherokee when 3 B/M suspects surrounded his vehicle. Suspect #1 came to driver's door brandished a black semi-auto pistol and demanded the victim get out of his vehicle. Suspect #2 went to the front passenger door and #3 went to the back of the vehicle. No injuries, no shots fired. Suspects: #1: B/M, 5'9", short hair, light skinned, faint mustache, brownish shirt, blue jeans armed w/ a black handgun. #2: B/M, 5'9", dark skinned, chin length dreads with a black ball cap. #3: B/M, dark skinned, wearing all black. Victim's vehicle was located a short distance away on Celia Ave. K-9 responded and got a small track, but the suspects were not located.

  The teenage victim advised that the suspect, and adult male, sexually assaulted her. The suspect is known to the family. The victim did not suffer any injury. The suspect was taken into custody and youth detectives responded.

• 8300 block of Old Statesville Road Robbery from business—armed

  A B/M suspect entered the BP Gas Station, asked for a pack of cigarettes and when the register opened, he pulled out a gun and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled on foot toward I-77. The suspect was wearing a brown jacket with some type of hood sticking out, blue jeans and had a silver revolver. No shots fired, no injuries. K-9 responded and completed a short track with negative results.

  ABC Officer England's work vehicle was struck by a silver Mazda with after market black wheels driven by a black male driver. The vehicle did not stop when Officer England attempted to stop the vehicle.

• 2600 block of Beatties Ford Road Robbery from business—armed

  3 B/M suspects wearing masks and scarves to cover their faces entered the Burger King, displayed a gun and the suspects stole money then fled on foot. No shots fired, no injuries. Suspects: #1: B/M, 6'3", black ski mask, gray shirt, black dress pants. #2: B/M, 5'11", black shirt and pants, red bandanna. #3: B/M, 5'9", black mask, shirt and pants. K-9 responded with negative results because of the area.

  The victim reported that a black male in a black shirt and blue jeans attempted to rob them at gunpoint but was unsucessful. The suspect fled from the scene on foot. No injuries.

  The victim reported being stabbed multiple times by a known suspect following an argument. The victim was self transported to CMC by a personal vehicle where they are being treated for a serious injury. The suspect has been arrested. This is not a random act.

• 3300 block of Dawnshire Avenue Assault—physical only

  CMPD was called to assist in an assault investigation involving an 87 yr old female who was brought to the hospital by a family member. CMPD was advised that the injury was several days old and that the victim had other injuries that warranted an investigation. Family Services and DSS are assisting with this investigation.

• 5400 block of Brookshire Blvd. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim advised that at approx 1:10 pm he was robbed at the gas station by 3 B/M suspects in a gold Ford Explorer. The victim advised that the driver/suspect (#1) called out to him and he thought he recognized him so he walked toward the vehicle. As he got to the vehicle, the driver/suspect (#1) pointed a black semi-auto weapon at him. The passenger (suspect#2) got out of the vehicle and went through his pockets removing his belongings. The 3rd suspect remained in the vehicle. Suspects: #1: white t-shirt, jeans, black handgun. #2: 6'2", muscular, dark skinned wearing a dark hoodie. No shots fired, no injuries.

• 5200 block of Victoria Avenue Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  (2) H/M suspects entered the victims residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint. One of the occupants of the residence was shot by the suspects and was transported to CMC with serious injuries.

• 100 block of E. Hill St. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that he was walking along E. Hill St. street when a white sedan pulled up. The occupants signaled for him to come over to the car, and then pointed a gun at him. The victim was robbed of half of his money, but was not injured. The suspect vehicle was located in the Freedom division a few hours later. The driver was arrested and evidence of the robbery was collected. Robbery detectives responded.

• 200 block of E. 5th St. Rape / sexual assault

  The victim was walking along the light rail tracks when two black male subjects attacked her from behind. The subjects tore at her clothes and sexually assaulted the victim. The victim was not able to provide much suspect information at this time. She self-transported to the hospital, where the crime was reported.

• 1100 block of Hoskins Rd. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim stated that he was standing in the parking lot of the Busy Bee in the 1100 block of Hoskins Rd when he was approached by an unknown black male suspect. The suspect asked him for a cigarette, and the victim advised that he did not have one. The suspect then left, and came back with two other black male suspects who attacked the victim, pulled his sweatshirt over his head, and cut him with a razor at some point during the altercation. The victim does not know the suspects, and he took off running away from the scene. The victim was treated for minor wounds at the hospital. The victim did not have any property taken from him.
