• 3200 block of Aspendale Lane Breaking and entering residential-unoccupied

  Neighbor called and advised that 2-3 suspects were attempting entry into a vacant home. When officers arrived, all three suspects were located and apprehended. NFI

  The G and M food mart was robbed at gunpoint by a white male suspect in a blue jacket. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

• 5900 block of Monroe Rd. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects. The first suspect was about 18 years old, 5'7", skinny, wearing a black hat, black shirt, and black pants. The second suspect was about 16 years old, 5'4", skinny, also wearing a black hat, black shirt, and black pants. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

  Female victim 77YO found deceased by a family member. The victim lived alone, the victims son found the victim unresponsive lying on her beedroom floor. Medic pronounced the victim at the scene.

• 1700 block of Back Bay Court Stolen vehicle

  Stolen vehicle located and recovered in the area. Subject who has outstanding warrants for stolen vehicle was arrested. He was also wanted on multiple charges out of Iredell County. Iredell County is coming to get the suspect on their charges.

• 6400 block of Monroe Rd Robbery from person—armed

  Two victims were walking at the above address when they were approached by 2 black males suspects armed with handguns. The suspects robbed the victims of money and personal items. Both victims claimed to be struck in the head, but there were no signs of injury.

  The victim was sitting outside his apartment in the common area when he was approached by a BM armed with a handgun. The BM robbed the victim of a small amount of U.S. currency. The K-9 Unit assisted with the search, but they were unable to locate the suspect.

  The victim was robbed of his vehicle at gunpoint by (2) B/M and (2) B/F suspects.

  Three B/Ms forced their way into victim's apt. and one was armed with a handgun. Suspects took electronic equipment. Victim's roomate was not present but may be acquainted with suspects.

  This incident occurred at the Burger King Restaurant located at 7026 Albemarle Road. A green vehicle occupied by a B/M suspect pulled up to the drive-thru window and attempted to rob the cashier at gunpoint. The cashier closed the window and the suspect fled.

• 4800 block of Monroe Road Robbery from person—armed

  The B/M victim was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot when 2 B/M suspects approached him, pointed guns at him, took his wallet and made him lay on the ground before fleeing on foot through the bushes. No shots fired, no injuries. Suspects: #1: B/M, 5'11", red shirt, black toboggan and jacket and black pistol. #2: B/M, 6'2", black hoodie, blue jeans and chrome pistol. K-9 responded and was able to get a short track. (Suspects probably got in a car).

• 5600 block of Farm Pond Ln. Robbery from business—armed

  The Q and A food store was robbed at gunpoint by a black male in a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a white shirt. One gunshot was fired inside the business but there are no injuries. The suspect fled on foot. Robbery detectives were notified.

  The victim reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect in a black hooded sweatshirt. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

  Family Dollar was robbed by 3 BM suspects armed with a firearm. The suspects fled the immediate area on foot. The K-9 Unit assisted in the search but was unable to locate the suspects.

  39 YOA male found deceased inside of his residence. This case is being handled as a death investigation at this time.

• 6500 block of Idlewild Road Assist medic

  A 7 month old child was transported to Presbyterian Hospital with serious injuries. It is unknown at this time how the child received the injuries. Youth Crime Detectives and DSS are investigating.

• 5300 block of Monroe Rd. Robbery from business—armed

  The Sam's Mart was robbed at gunpoint when the clerk attempted to stop the suspect who was shoplifting inside the store. The suspect shot the clerk in the foot and then fled the scene. The suspect is a white male, gray jacket, tee shirt and jeans. The clerk was transported to CMC for treatment of a NLT injury.

• 4300 block of N. Sharon Amity Road Robbery from person—armed

  Male victim met a female a few days ago and was at her residence on this date. A B/M suspect, 6'4", w/ dreads came to the residence and asked if the victim wanted to buy drugs. The victim refused and the suspect pistol whipped him and took money and prescription drugs from him, then fled in a gold colored vehicle. Victim's injuries were not serious.

• 6000 block of E. Independence Blvd. Robbery from business—armed

  2 B/M suspects entered the Wendy's and took money from the register at gunpoint and then fled the restaurant on foot across Independence Blvd. K-9 and the CMPD Helicopter responded to the scene to assist. Suspects are both approx 5'9", 160, 1 is wearing a red hoodie and the other a black hoodie, both were wearing masks during the robbery. No shots fired, no injuries.

  A 3-4 yr old H/M child was found at the intersection by a citizen who called CMPD. The child's mother was located at 1746 hours at a nearby apartment.

  A B/M early 20's, freckles/acne, wearing a white hoodie and light colored blue jeans displayed a black 9 mm pistol and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk refused to comply and the suspect fled on foot from the store.

  The victim stated that he was in his apartment when two BM suspects broke in and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects fled the immediate area on foot.

  The victim were robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect in a white tee shirt and jeans. The suspect stole the victim's Mitshibushi and fled the scene in it. No injuries.

• 4800 block of Central Avenue Robbery from person—strong arm

  H/M victim was chased down, beaten and robbed of his wallet by a H/M suspect. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect and recover the victim's wallet. The victim sustained minor injury. Robbery Detectives are interviewing the suspect.

  The victim was physically assaulted and robbed by a group of 6-7 males. The victim was transported to CMC to be treated for NLT injuries.

• 6600 block of Idlewild Road Robbery from person—armed

  H/M victim arrived home and was getting out of his car in front of his apartment when he was approached by 2 B/Ms, 1 of which was armed with a handgun. The suspects took money and cell phone from the victim and then the armed suspect struck the victim in head with the gun. The victim sustained minor injury and refused medic. The suspects fled on foot. Suspects: #1: B/M, 6 ft tall, dark hoodie, dark jeans, armed with hand gun. #2: 5¿3", small build with blk t-shirt and dark pants.
