  The male victim was returning to his residence when he was shot in the chest by unknown suspect(s). The victim was transported to CMC with life threatening injuries.

  The victim advised that a black male and black female robbed him at gunpoint, taking his wallet. The suspects fled in a green honda accord. No injuries

• 1500 block of Emerywood Drive Robbery from person—armed

  (2) armed W/M suspects forced entry into the victims residence by kicking open the front door. Once inside, the suspects robbed the victim of cash. The masked suspects were observed fleeing the scene on foot.

  The victim reported being robbed at knife point by a white male suspect, red tee shirt, jeans and a beard. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

• 1900 block of Sharon Road West Robbery from person—strong arm

  H/F was followed by 2 suspects while she was walking down the sidewalk. One suspect walked in front of the victim talking to her and then without any provocation struck her in the face knocking her to the ground. The suspects took her purse and fled on foot. A suspect was located a short distance away after K-9 tracked and he was arrested. The victim sustained minor injuries to her face. Property was recovered. Great Work!

• 2100 block of Runnymede Lane Road blockage

  Road is closed because of a water main break. Road work will occur overnight in this area. One lane of Runnymede is open in the direction from the Southpark Area.

• 8500 block of Park Road

  A female was at an ATM when a male approached and tried to rob her. She kicked the suspect in the chest and the suspect fled on foot. Suspect: B/M, 5'11", 17-20, green hoodie, scruffy beard. Victim not injured. K-9 and CMPD Helicopter responded but were unable to locate the suspect.

• 6000 block of Park South Dr. Death—natural

  76YO male found deceased at the Sunrise Senior Living facility. The victim was found unresponsive on the floor, CPR was administered by on duty staff personnel. The victim was pronounced on scene.

  57 yr old female found deceased of apparent natural causes.

• 5900 block of Winburn Lane Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  Male suspect broke into a home and was arrested a short time later. The suspect had ingested a large amount of drugs and had to be transported to CMC Pineville and then later to jail. Suspect is Eric Spanjer, W/M, 12/31/71.

• 1500 block of Kentland Ln Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The victim advised that the suspect broke into her home at night while she was there. He approached her in her bedroom and moved her around to different rooms of the house. The victim was able to call the police, and when the police arrived the suspect fled. He was apprehended a exiting the building and arrested.

• 2400 block of Longleaf Dr. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim advised that the suspect pulled him out of his car and shot him in the buttocks for no reason. The suspect is known to the victim. The victim self-transported to CMC Pineville where the crime was reported by the triage nurse. Non life threatening injury.

  Suntrust reported that it was robbed by two BM suspects and one BF.

• 1500 block of East Woodlawn Road Robbery from business—strong arm

  First Citizens Bank reported that it was robbed by a BM suspect, about 6'1", 250 lbs and in his 40s. He was wearing a white t-shirt on his head, a long sleeve black shirt and black sweatpants. He fled the immediate area on foot.

  Rite Aid reported that it was robbed by a BM suspect, about 5'11" tall, with short gray hair, wearing a blue shirt and dark blue pants. He fled the immediate area on foot.

• 5700 block of Farmbrook Drive Missing person

  12 yr old male reported missing by the school. Geo-notify activated, CMPD Helicopter responded to assist with the search, Missing Person's Detectives assisted with investigation, MCSO K-9 came to assist with their bloodhound. Child was located at approx. 8:00 pm, in good health.

• 1900 block of Mereview Ct. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim reported they were stabbed in the back by a known suspect following an argument. The victim was tranported to CMC with a NLT injury.

• 7900 block of Shady Oak Trail Robbery from person—armed

  The victim went his car to get something out of the trunk when he was approached by two black males, wearing all black, armed with semi handguns. They took his backpack and fled the scene on foot. No direction of travel. No injuries.

• 6000 block of Ingleside Drive Robbery from person—armed

  The H/M victim was standing in his driveway when he was approached by a B/M who was armed with an older looking black pistol. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet. The victim tried to run away from the suspect, but did give him his wallet. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect was heavy set wearing a black t-shirt. No shots fired, no injuries.

• 5800 block of Fairview Road Person down / public accident

  A vehicle occupied by a female in her 20's ran off the parking deck. The female was trapped inside for a period of time before the vehicle was discovered. Female is possibly intoxicated. NLT injuries at this time.

• 4600 block of Carmel Vista Lane Breaking and entering residential-unoccupied

  The caller reported seeing three BM suspects enter a neighbor's home. The caller called 911 and then followed the suspects as they fled the area in a vehicle. South Division officers have one suspect in custody and have recovred the vehicle in which the suspects fled the scene. They currently have a perimeter up, searching for the additional suspects.

  Brownlee Jewelers reported that it was robbed by a BM suspect. The suspect fled the scene in a white car with Tennessee tags; last seen on Park Road towards the city. The suspect was has shoulder length dreds and is wearing a long white t-shirt and dark jeans. He is also wearing a red baseball cap.

  The victim reported being shot once by three black males, all wearing white tee shirts and baggy pants. The suspects fled on foot. The victim was transported to CMC Pineville for treatment of a NLT injury.

• 1700 block of Sharon Rd. W. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  Steele Creek Div. responded to an assault call at The Keys of Carolina (Group Home). This incident involved a 17YO that stabbed a 15YO in the eye with a nail. The victim was transported to CMC Main with (NLT) injuries and reported to be in stable condition and resting. The suspect was takin into custody and charged with ADWISI.
