  Reported Armed Robbery From Person, suspects 1 B/M Blk. shirt & Blue Jeans, ! H/M 5'4" Blk. shirt & Blu Jeans. The H/M was armed with a handgun. The suspects were last seen running behind Trader Joes.

  A 59 year old male was found deceased from apparent natural causes.

• 9800 block of Rea Road Assist fire department

  Fire inside Target inside the baby department. Fire was contained by CFD. Everyone was evacuated from the store. It is suspected that a receptacle may have caught on fire. No injuries.

• 12600 block of Parks Farm Lane Missing person

  6 yr old child missing since 3:10 pm per Grandmother. Child seen getting in a red mustang by neighbor, possibly with Mother. Unable to locate child and mother. Missing Person Det contacted. Child was finally located with the mother in Union County safe.

• 900 block of Iberville Street Domestic disturbance

  Officers responded to a call in reference to a male subject assaulting his mother. Upon arrival the female was found injured and Medic was called to the scene. When officers attempted to speak with the suspect he locked himself in a bathroom with a gun and threatened to shoot officers. A perimeter was set up, SWAT Officers were summoned, but prior to their arrival and deployment the suspect was taken into custody when he came out of the residence unarmed. Great job by all.

• 200 block of Wilby Drive Death investigation

  Male subject deceased of an apparent self inflicted gun shot wound. Homicide, CD-CP, Mobile Crisis responded to the scene to assist with this investigation.

• 7000 block of Walton Heath Lane Missing person

  CMPD and CFD coordinated a search effort for Scott Mullen, a 49 yr old W/M with diminished mental capacity as a result of prior brain trauma. CMPD Helicopter and ABC Officer Lopez w/ Bloodhound searched the area along with officers and fire fighters. GEO Notify was activated initially for a 2 mile radius then changed to 5 mile radius. Missing Persons completed a media release (that was distributed just as the victim was located). Mr. Mullen was located at Idlewild Road and Stallings Road after a 911 call to Matthews Police at 8:48. Mr. Mullen was officially located at 8:56 pm unharmed and was recovered by CMPD Officers and returned to his home.

  South Div. responded with Medic Ref: 80YO male found deceased by a family member. The victim suffered from several medical problems. The family physician will sign the death certificate.

  I month old child under Hospice care found deceased.

  Officers responded to a call at the above address in reference to the callers roommate who was not responsive. Medic and fire responded. Victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. Homicide detectives responded, and case was handled as a death investigation.

  Female subject overdosed on prescription medication and alcohol. She was transported to Presbyterian Hospital.

  The victim reported that she was robbed of cash at knifepoint by a known suspect.

  Vehicle accident Fatality, motorcycle ran into Target @ Stonecrest Shopping Center. Operator speeding doing motorcycle wheelies in parking lot. HITS responding. No other details at this time.

• 13800 block of Summit Commons Blvd. Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The victim reported that two black males in dark clothing and a Hispanic male broke into their home and took items. The suspects fled in some type of unknown car. No injuries.

• 16600 block of Lancaster Hwy Robbery from person—armed

  W/F victim was outside the store smoking a cigarette when a small blue car occupied by 2 H/M suspects approached her. 1 of the suspects got out of the car, pointed a revolver at the victim and took her purse. No shots fired, no injuries. The suspects fled in the small blue vehicle.

  A 74 year old male was found deceased of apparent natural causes.

• 7100 block of Shannopin Drive Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The listed victim's residence was broken into by two B/Ms. The victim advised they fled the scene in a gold Kia. South Division officers located the vehicle a short time later; however lost sight of it on Tyvola heading towards 77. The vehicle was then located unoccupied in the PVA of the McDonald's on Freedom Drive. Helicopter, K9 and Crime Scene Search units were notified to assist with this incident. Unknown at this time if any property was taken from the residence.

  Domestic Assault and larceny reported to South Div. Officers. The victim was assaulted by a known male that punched the victim on the left side of the face. The victims left eye and face were swollen. During the incident the suspect also stole several rings belonging to the victim. The suspect was found and arrested, charges pending.
