• 2900 block of Freedom Drive Assault with a deadly weapon-no injury

  The victim was at the First Citizens Bank ATM when he was approached by (3) B/M suspects. One of the suspects fired a shot at him in an apparent robbery attempt and then fled the scene in a silver vehicle. The victim was not injured.

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black males, one with a multi colored jacket and a mask and the second wearing a white shirt. The suspects fled the scene in a silver Chrysler Sebring. No injuries.

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black males, with one wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans and the second wearing all black. The suspects fled in a blue car that was occupied by a third black male suspect. No injuries.

• 2700 block of Freedom Dr. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim was filling his car with gas when the suspect approached him, with a gun, and robbed him of his car. The vehicle was located by officers a short time later, but the suspect was not apprehended. The victim decided against prosecution once his car was recovered.

  Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting at 2745 Freedom Drive. The victim of the shooting was pronounced dead at the scene.

• 3100 block of Freedom Dr. Robbery from business—armed

  The Freedom Business Center was the victim of an attempted armed robbery by two black males wearing all black clothing with one of the suspects being 5'7" with a thin mustache. The suspects were not able to get anything and fled on foot. No injuries.

  The victim reported they were robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect, thin beard, blue hat, blue sweatshirt and jeans. The suspect had the victim drive them to another location and then fled on foot. No injuries.

• 2400 block of Morton St. Robbery from person—armed

  4 suspects (3 black male and 1 hispanic male) forced their way into the home at the above address and took over the house. In the process, the suspects robbed the 5 occupants of money and personal items. They also committed a sexual assault on 2 female victims. No serious injuries. The suspects fled from the residence on foot.

  The victim reports being robbed at gunpoint at the 1800 block of Ashley Rd. The suspect took the victim's motorcycle and was last seen on Ashley Rd. towards Tuckaseegee Rd. No injuries were reportyed.

• 2400 block of Wilkinson Blvd. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  Officers working off duty at the Vox Club on Wilkinson reported shots fired at the club. Further investigation revealed one victim was shot inside the club. He suffered non-life threatening injury. ADW detectives investigated.

  The restaurant located at the above address was shot into by a number of suspects occupying a gold van. No one was struck inside the business. The van left the parking lot, heading down Freedom Dr.

• 2400 block of Belfast Drive Robbery from person—armed

  Herbert Spaugh and Ashley Park were put on lockdown after two BM suspects committed a robbery in the area. The K-9 Unit was called in to assist with a perimter search; the suspects evaded capture.

• 2100 block of Ashley Rd. Accident—personal Injury

  Metro Div. stopped a vehicle on Ashley Rd. near Tuckaseegee Rd. for a traffic violation. After stopping the operator took off from the vehicle stop.The vehicle continued on Ashley Rd. and collided with a vehicle in the 2100 block of Ashley Rd. and struck a pole. The driver and passanger were transported to CMC Main with serious injuries. HITS investigating the accident.

  A black male suspect wearing a black jacket and glasses entered the business at the above address. He indicated that he had a weapon, and robbed the business of cash from the register. The suspect fled on foot heading into town on Freedom Dr.

  A black male suspect wearing a red collared shirt with stripes and a bald head entered the business at the above address, showed the clerk a gun, and demanded money. He took the money and headed out on foot towards Tuckaseegee Rd. No injuries.

  Victim advised that he was robbed by 2 black male subjects driving a 4dr Ford Focus and armed with a shotgun. The victim was not injured during the incident.

• 1900 block of Camp Greene Street Breaking and entering residential-occupied

  The victim's residence was broken into by a BM suspect wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The suspect fled the scene in a tan Jeep Cherokee; its back window is busted out and covered by duct tape. The suspect was detained a short while later by an officer circulating the area for the suspect vehicle.

  Metro Div. Officers responded with Medic Ref: 47YO male unresponsive. Medic attempted CPR and the victim was pronounced on site. Homicide notified, ME"s office contacted.

• Freedom Drive & Alleghany Street Robbery from person—armed

  2 B/M suspects approached the victims at this location and put a gun to the male victim's head and took their vehicle, a 2004 Burgundy Cadillac Escalade, NC tag XZR-7143. Suspects: #1-B/M, short dreads, black t-shirt. #2-longer dreads, black t-shirt, jacket. No shots fired, no injuries.

• 3200 block of Wilkinson Blvd. Robbery from person—armed

  A B/M suspect, late 20s, 5'9", 175, long dreads pulled back in a ponytail wearing a red & white Gamecocks shirt, blue jeans and brown boots, entered the Radio Shack & asked to look at a laptop. He then pulled out a silver semi auto pistol and demanded a laptop. He fled the store on foot. No shots fired, no injuries.

• 2900 block of Marlowe Avenue

  VCAT, SWAT and the Electronic Monitoring unit worked together to get Michael Mahol, 11/22/89 and Keith Stanley, Jr., 11/8/91 into custody without incident. These two subjects were involved in the gun incident with the SRO at Spaugh yesterday. Warrants on Mahol-Trespass, CCW-gun, Comm Threats, Poss Firearm on School Property. Warrant on Stanley-2nd degree trespassing. Officer Michael Blee is the lead officer on this case.

• 2800 block of Crisman St. Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim reported that as they were walking in the parking lot, some unknown suspect shot them in the hand for no reason. The victim then self transported themselve to CMC for treatment of a NLT injury.

• 2800 block of Greenland Ave. Robbery from person—strong arm

  The victim reported that they were physically assaulted and robbed by three black males. One was wearing a brown pullover and jeans, the second was wearing dark clothing and the third was wearing dark clothing. The suspects fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Caprice. No injuries.
