• 2600 block of West Sugar Creek Road Robbery from business—strong arm

  Wachovia was robbed by a BM suspect who fled the scene in a black Honda Civic. The suspect fled onto I-77 North. North Division officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the suspect refused to stop; CMPD officers then initiated a pursuit. Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol eventually took the suspect into custody in Gaston County.

  A pizza delivery driver was physically assaulted and robbed of his cash by (2) B/M suspects who fled the area on foot. No injuries reported.

• 2800 block of Allen Rd. S. Assault with a deadly weapon-no injury

  The victim was drinking with friends when they began fighting. During the scuffle, one of the suspects swung a knife at the victim, nicking his finger. Medical treatment was refused.

  The victim was robbed at gunpoint by (2) B/M suspects who fled the area on foot.

• 4100 block of Statesville Rd Robbery from business—armed

  The clerk advised that 2 suspects entered the business, displayed a handgun, and took money from the register. Both suspect were arrested shortly thereafter, and the stolen property recovered. No injuries. Ropbery detectives called in to interview.

• 4700 block of Cheviot Rd. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim accepted a ride home from her workplace from 2 black males suspects who were acquaintenances. After arriving at the home, they produced handguns and robbed her of cash. No injuries.

  An unknown suspect fired multiple rounds into an occupied residence. No injuries reported.

• 4700 block of N. Graham Street Robbery from business—armed

  B/M suspect wearing a blue mechanic's suit armed with a handgun entered the Petro Express, pushed the clerk down and took money from the register. No shots fired. Clerk suffered very minor injury from being pushed down.

• Gibbon Road & Derita Avenue Missing person

  2 young female children were seen walking near this intersection by a concerned citizen. The mother of the children came to the scene and as she did, one of the girls ran into the woods. K-9 responded to assist with attempting to locate the child. A GEO Notify was started for a 1/2 mile radius in the neighborhood. Officers circulated the area in cars and on foot. CFD was requested to assist with the search. The girl was located at 2717 Derita Ave., near a shed by officers at about 10:21 pm unharmed and transported back to her home.

  The Wachovia Bank advised they were robbed by a B/M described as approximately 6', 200 lbs, and last seen wearing a dark hat, and sunglasses. K9 and helicopter were notified.

• 3400 block of Misty wood Dr. Death—natural

  North Div. responded with Medic Ref: a person not breathing. The victim was found by a relative unresponsive and called Medic. CPR was administered and the victim was pronounced at the residence. The victim suffered from several medical problems. The ME's Office was contacted. The death appears to be from natural causes.

  A victim was found shot and pronounced deceased on the scene. Homicide detectives responded.

  Some unknown suspect shot into a house which was occupied by three victims. No injuries or suspect information.

• 3100 block of Mintleaf Drive Domestic disturbance

  Officer responded to a domestic assault with injuries call. While arresting the suspect, one of the officers was bitten on the leg by the suspect. Injuries to the officer are NLT, but he was transported to the hospital for exposure. Officer Assault complaint numbers 2009 0527 2335 03.

  Responded to assist CFD with a house fire. Most of the house was burned. It is suspected that the home was diverting power and this was the possible cause of the fire. No injuries.

• 4800 block of Woodstone Dr. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by three black males with one suspect being described as a black male about 5'6", 150 lbs with dreadlocks just above his shoulders wearing a black shirt, jean shorts. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

  Officers arrested a male suspect after he assaulted a female that he is in a domestic relationship with.

• Kenmont Dr. & Cedarhurst Dr. Stolen vehicle

  Officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle and the occupants jumped and ran. One of the occupants was a pregnant female who was apprehended. The driver was identified. Auto Theft Detectives assisted with investigation.

  Officers responded to a call reference to vehicles being broken into and stopped a vehicle which was discovered to be recently stolen (20081226-054100-2727 Tallu Road). The 15 yr old suspect claims to be a member of SUR 13. Auto Theft and Gang Unit are responding to assist.

  Reported Armed Robery Attempt. The victim reports he was walking on Woodstone Dr. when a Burgandy Nissan occupied by 3 B/M's drove up next to him, one B/M suspect exited the vehicle pointed a weapon at him demanding money. The suspect ran from the scene.

  The victim had just finished washing his vehicle, when 3 B/M suspects, one of which was armed with a silver handgun, approached him and demanded his vehicle, a green Lexus 300. The victim complied. The victim's vehicle was recovered a short time later at 4500 Wynbrook Way. Possible suspects were identified. Robbery was consulted by phone.

  The victim reported that the suspect attempted to rob them by striking them with a stick. The suspect was arrested on scene. Robbery detectives were notified.

  The listed residence was broken into by 3 B/Ms. North Division officers responded and currently have two subjects in custody. K9 is still tracking for the third subject.

• 3400 block of Cypress Pond Drive Robbery from person—armed

  2 B/Ms knocked on the door of the residence. One asked for change. The male victim thought he recognized one of the suspects as a neighbor so he went to get some change. The suspects forcibly entered the residence and took cash and a handgun. 1 suspect was 6' 1", 170, short hair, dark skinned, 1 suspect was 5' 9", thin, black hoodie, long dreads and black faded jeans. No shots fired, no injuries.
