• 600 block of E. 7th. St. Rape / sexual assault

  The victim reported a sexual assault by a known suspect.

• 200 block of E. 5th St. Rape / sexual assault

  The victim was walking along the light rail tracks when two black male subjects attacked her from behind. The subjects tore at her clothes and sexually assaulted the victim. The victim was not able to provide much suspect information at this time. She self-transported to the hospital, where the crime was reported.

  The victim reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by a black male, blue warm up suit and baseball hat. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

• N. Brevard Street & E. 7th Street Robbery from person—armed

  B/M victim was walking to the festival at Dixie's Tavern when he was approached by 2 B/Ms at the intersection. 1 of the suspects had a gun and they took the victim's wallet, cell phone and keys then struck the victim in the head with the gun. The victim sustained minor injury.

• 200 block of N. Tryon St. Robbery from person—strong arm

  An unknown and highly intoxicated victim was pushed over by the suspect and then the suspect took his wallet. A witness reported the crime and assisted officers in locating the suspect. The victim left the scene prior to officers arriving.

  The victim reported that he was assaulted and robbed by an H/M suspect.

• 600 block of N. Tryon Street Robbery from person—armed

  The male victim advised that he was followed back to his hotel by 2 B/Ms and when he went to get ice the suspects ran at him, forced him to the ground, put a .38 cal revolver to his head and took his wallet. They then fled on foot. Suspect #1: B/M, 18, 5'8", chin length braids, jeans, black & white bandanna around neck. #2: B/M, 18, 5'8", diamond earrings in both ears, short hair goatee w/ connecting sideburns. No shots fired, no injuries.

  The juvenile victim advised she was walking home from the Transit Center when she was approached by a male subject. They walked together a short distance before he forced her into the shadows and had intercourse with her.

  The victim reported being robbed at knifepoint by a black male suspect, 6'1", white tee shirt and shorts. The suspect fled on foot. No injuries.

• 600 block of E. 5th St. Miscellaneous incident

  A CMPD employee reporting to work this morning discovered that someone shot through three window at the Family Services Building at 601 E. 5th St. It is likely that the bullets holes in the windows were the result of stray rounds from an incident that occurred in the parking lot between the CMPD parking deck and the Bob Cats Arena early Sunday morning in which numerous rounds were fired.

• 500 block of E. Trade Street Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  The victim reported that he was assaulted by a group of black males. The victim stated that the suspects then fired a handgun at him. The suspects then fled from the area. The victim was transported to Presbyterian Hospital for NLT injuries.

  An on duty CMPD bike officer was struck by a suspected drunk driver. The officer was transported to CMC with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle was arrested.

• 200 block of East 7th Street Robbery from person—armed

  The victim advised that a Black male, wearing a brown hat and shirt, armed with a handgun, robbed him and then fled on foot walking west on 6th street from College Street.

• 500 block of N. Alexander Street Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury

  An 18 year old female was shot in the chest by her mother. Victim was transported to CMC by MEDIC with life threatening injuries. Detectives are talking to the mother.

  The two victims reported that a B/M suspect approached them and brandished a weapon and demanded property from the victims. The suspect then fled on foot.

  At Discovery Place. Assist Medic with child who has fallen. Transported but no visible injuries. Child is alert and moving around.

  A 28 year old W/F was assisted by 3 W/M's into a 2003 Honda Pilot, MD tag 291M632. The female has not been heard from since.

  Female victim advised that she was robbed by a B/M while she was at Trolley Station. B/M, brown jacket, and backpack struck the victim and took items from her.

• 200 block of N. College Street Robbery from person—strong arm

  The victim reported that she was robbed by a B/M and B/F who took her property after assaulting her. Both suspects were apprehended by officers as they attempted to flee from the scene.

  CMPD responded to a call in reference to a suicide attempt. The victim was transported to CMC for treatment.

• 200 block of E. 7th Street Stolen vehicle

  Officers were doing an undercover surveillance in the area when they observed a W/M suspect pop the hood on a vehicle and the vehicle leave the lot. A related suspect vehicle was stopped and 3 suspects were arrested for Auto Theft. Auto Theft Detectives responded to assist. Great Work!

  Lior Ann Melehi was arrested for DWI after striking 5 different vehicles with the vehicle she was driving in a center city parking lot. There were no injuries.

• 200 block of E. Fifth St. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported that a hispanic male attempted to rob them at knifepoint. The suspect had a shaved head and a beard. The victim suffered a small cut to their hand and self transported themself to Presbyterian Hospital for treatment of a NLT injury.

  The victim reports his vehicle and other propery was stolen while he was passed out in the parking lot of Dixie Tavern. The suspects, B/M & W/F drove the vehicle to Rock Hill S. C. where they crashed the vehicle and were apprehended by the South Carolina Highway Patrol..

  Three suspects approached the victim on foot. One held a handgun up to the victim's chest and demanded his belongings. The other two searched the victim and one of them hit the victim on the head with an unknown object. All three fled on foot. The victim had minor injuries to the head and knee.

  The victim reported being shot once by a Asian male suspect who was driving a silver Infiniti. The victim was transported to CMC by MEDIC to be treated for a possible life threatening injuries. ADW unit responded.

  The victim stated that while walking in the 200 block of N. College St., suspect assaulted him and took their wallet/property from his back right pants pocket without permission. The suspect was found him in possession of the victim¿s property. The suspect was arrested on scene. Robbery detectives responded.

• 6th at College Bomb- Suspicious Item Found

  A suspicious item has been found outside of Fuel Pizza. The CMPD Bomb Squad is on scene and investigating. Until further notice, College Street is shut down between 5th and 7th; 6th Street is shut down between Brevard and Tryon.
