  The McDonalds was robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect, black baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt and a clear mask. The suspect fled the scene in a gold Ford Explorer that was occupied by three other black males. No injuries.

  (3) armed B/M suspects forced their way into an apartment and attempted to rob the residents. This incident is believed to be drug related. There were no injuries.

  The victims reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects who were dressed in all black and were wearing black shorts. The suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

  The victim reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by two black males, dressed in all black with their faces covered by a mask. The suspects fled in an older model gray car; possibly a Crown Victoria. No injuries.

  Male victim reports being approached in the parking lot of Twin Peaks by an armed B/M suspect who took money from him. The victim waited a considerable amount of time before reporting this incident and there are other inconsistencies with his story. This case is still under investigation.

  The victim business, Wing Zone was robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects, Suspect #1: black male, dark skin, dreads, 6'1 ft, average build, dark blue hooded sweat shirt, jeans, and a silver / black handgun. Suspect #2: black male, light skinned, 5'10 ft, average build, hooded sweat shirt. Suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

  Armed suspects entered the residence and took items belonging to the residents at gunpoint. This home invasion is possibly drug related. Cash and a computer were taken. No shots fired, no injuries.

  The victim reported that an unknown male armed with a handgun pointed a handgun at him and shot him in the leg. The victim was transported to CMC with NLT injuries.

  2nd suspect from Lex Dr attempted burglary robbed a UNCC student of his vehicle while on campus. Suspect wrecked vehicle when he encountered police and fled on foot. Captured and arrested by UNCC Police. Incident occurred on campus and is being investigated by UNCC Campus Police.

  The two victims reported that three B/M suspects armed with guns forced entry into their room at the Inn Town Suites and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot. One of the victims sustained minor injuries.

• E. Mallard Creek Church & Mary Alexander Accident—personal Injury

  A passenger vehicle pulled into the path of an oncoming CATS Bus in the intersection. Preliminary investigation reveals that the CATS Bus had right of way. 5 passengers and driver on bus and driver and one passenger in the passenger vehicle. The 2 females in the vehicle received serious injuries. 2 passengers from CATS Bus received minor injuries. HITS and Transit Unit responded to assist with investigation.

• 10000 block of N. Tryon Street Robbery from business—armed

  A B/M suspect, 6', med build, dark skinned, thin mustache, wearing all black and a black hoodie armed w/ a silver & copper handgun entered the Petro Express Store and asked for change. He then pulled the gun and demanded money. The suspect obtained money and fled from the store. No shots fired, no injuries.

  The BB&T bank was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects. The suspects were described as either white or hispanic males. No injuries.

  The victim came out of the Walmart and was at the back of his vehicle when 2 armed B/M suspects approached him and demanded his wallet and car keys. The suspects took the victim's silver 1995 Saab and his wallet. No shots fired, no injuries.

• 600 block of Lex Dr. Robbery from person—armed

  The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black males who were driving a 2008 black Chevrolet Impala. Only one suspect exited the car and was described as a black male, medium complexion, 6'1", 160 pounds, last seen wearing a designer hoodie jacket with black pants and boots. Suspect was armed with a .38 black revolver. The other suspect stayed in the car and is described as a black male, dark complexion, hoodie hat, and dark jacket.

• 7700 block of North Tryon Street Assault with a deadly weapon-no injury

  Two W/M's who were intoxicated got into a dispute with a subject that started at the Waffle House and culminated at the In-Town Suites. They pointed a gun at the victim and then took his phone and threw it, damaging same. The suspects were arrested for this incident plus an earlier incident in which both suspects pointed a gun at the victims; also at the In-Town Suites.
