Robbery from person—armed
The victim reported that he was robbed by an unknown person at an unknown location. The victim was extremely intoxicated and could only advise someone placed a gun to his back and demanded his wallet. The victim gave the suspect his wallet. It was determined that the incident occurred under the bridge in the 900 block of N Tryon St. The victim could not provide any description of the suspect. The victim was not injured.

3300 block of Statesville Rd
Robbery from person—armed
The victim was walking on the sidewalk along Statesville Ave when a B/M came up behind him and hit him in the knee with a metal pipe. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect hit the victim several more times in the knee area telling the victim to give him his coat. At this time two additional people walked up and told the suspect to stop and leave the victim alone. The suspect walked away with the other people. The victim was transported to CMC. The only description he could provide was a B/M approximately 6'0.

Robbery from person—strong arm
The male victim was sitting in a vehicle watching a DVD when 3 B/M suspects approached, one opened the door, punched the victim in the face, drug him out of the vehicle and all 3 suspects jumped into the vehicle and drove away. The vehicle that was taken was a black BMW 740 with a 30 day tag. Victim sustained minor injuries from the assault and refused medic.

Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury
A male victim was stabbed in the buttocks and abdomen by a known suspect on the porch of the above address after some type of verbal altercation. The victim sustained serious, but NLT injuries and was transported by Medic to CMC Main. The victim fled on foot in the area. K-9 and the CMPD helicopter responded, but the suspect was not located.

Assault with a deadly weapon-with injury
The victim a B/M reported to CMC Main with a gunshot wound to the groin area. Metro Div. Officers investigatin the incident determined the victims injury was due to a self inflicted gunshot. The victim had the weapon in his pocket when it discharged. The incident is under investigation. The injuries are (NLT).

Robbery from person—armed
The victim had just got off the bus and was walking to his apartment when a small, blue, four-door sports car pulled up. Three Hispanic males with blue bandanas covering their faces exited the car. Two of the suspects were armed; one with a revolver and one with a semi automatic handgun. The suspects kicked the victim and hit him on the back of his head with a gun. The suspects then took the victim¿s shoes and book bag. The victim sustained a minor cut to the back of his head behind his right ear. Non-life-threatening injury¿no shots fired. The victim was unable to provide a last known direction of travel for the suspects.

1200 block of Norris Avenue
Breaking and entering residential-occupied
Victim advised 2 black males attempted to rob him. The victim attempted to catch up to the suspects but was unable to do so. While at home and on the phone with 911, a B/F approached the residence and advised she was robbed and needed to use the phone. The victim handed the complainant the phone and she walked outside. When the victim heard the door, a B/M entered the residence and the two began wrestling. The victim was able to get free to grab a hammer. The suspects, both B/M and B/F fled the residence. No injuries reported.

Cars of Charlotte was robbed by 2 B/M suspects who came into the office. One of the suspects had a weapon that looked like a black Tech 9. The suspects took the cash drawer and fled on foot. Suspect #1: B/M, 19, 5'6", 140, dark blue shirt, blue jean shorts and red doo rag on head. #2: B/M, 20, 5'9", 150, black shirt, blue jeans and white doo rag. Related possible suspect vehicle: silver Yukon or Blazer. No shots fired, no injuries.

The suspects fled in a vehicle that was followed from the scene and was subsequently stopped at a license checkpoint off W. T. Harris Blvd. The suspects were identified by victims and Robbery Detectives are responding to assist with the investigation. No injuries.

B/M victim was about to enter the business when a B/M suspect, 5'8", shoulder length dreads dressed all in black said something to him and when the victim turned to respond, the suspect was pointing a gun at him. The suspect took a wallet and car keys from the victim and fled in a Buick LeSabre. Suspects were stopped after another robbery and Robbery Detectives are responding to assist with the investigation. No shots fired, no injuries.

300 block of Plymouth Avenue
Fire case / investigation
CMPD Officers were flagged down by a citizen who advised that a residence in the area was on fire. Officers followed the citizen and located smoke coming from a house. The officers were informed that there was someone inside. Officers attempted to make entry into the residence prior to CFD arrival on scene, but the smoke was too heavy. CFD responded and cleared the house and found no one inside. One officer was transported with minor smoke inhalation type medical issues.
